Visceral manipulation within the Rolfing® “core” sessions
• SI Practitioner (IASI approved)
A member of the Rolf Institute since 1986 and an International and European Rolfing…
During my continuing education, I took several courses in visceral manipulation. They were very helpful to refine my touch skills and to learn about how to approach the various systems: digestive, respiratory and urogenital.
The next step on investigation was to consider the interaction of these systems with the muscular – fascial – skeletal systems, which is the traditional field of the basic series. When we include the visceral - pressure systems organization, then the relationship between container and content becomes more and more clear.
All the Rolfing® “core sessions” focus on these relationships and how the systems shape the container and content are connected and affect each other’s.
This is the approach I propose in this workshop: moving from the goals of the core sessions and selected those visceral techniques that can be useful to achieve the goals of the core sessions.

Important notice
A minimum number of participants is required. If this minimum is not reached 6 weeks before the start of the workshop, the workshop may be cancelled.
Deadline for decision is 23. January 2025.
(Prices, dates, course locations and teachers are subject to change.)
For each of the core sessions, the fourth, fifth, sixth, and seventh, we will analyze their goals, and then study and practice those relevant maneuvers derived from visceral manipulation that facilitate the achievement of the goals of the sessions themselves.
The workshop will be 4 days long and each day is devoted to a "core" session during which there will be a theoretical explanation, review of related anatomy followed by practical application of the techniques.
