Exploring the 4 principles of Rolfing in time and space – clinical bodyreading and touch - WS 1 "Legs and pelvic girdle"
The 4 principles of Rolfing give an extraordinary theoretical frame for the 10 sessions series of Rolfing. Nevertheless, it can be fairly challenging to apply these principles in our sessions.
We learn to work with “our” perspective of support, adaptability, palin tonicity and closure and move from perception (Bodyreading, Seeing, Touch) to interpretation (“Clinical” meaning) to application (Practical approach).
Space and the ability to perceive spatial relationships in the body are important keystones for creating an individual reference how the body is organized under different conditions (for instance: position of the body – standing, sitting, or breathing).
Time brings us into the realm of movement – the change of positions. (For instance: speed, velocity, acceleration, or preparation of movement - premovement).
In order to have plenty of time for exploring in ourselves, we offer a series of 3 workshops organized around
- legs and pelvic girdle,
- the arms and shoulder girdle and
- the spine and head
- Open for all Certified Rolfers® and Rolf Movement™ Practitioner
- Anyone looking to obtain Credits: 3 intermediate (manipultaion) credits
