Summary

This course gives a practical introduction into  the one Rolfing® session concept.

We will discuss and apply the relevant items of:
- a new version of body reading relevant for global integration of the organism related to  the field of gravity
- a combination of visual analysis and manual tests to evaluate the junctions of the inner cavities of the body
- important items to relate the junctions inside the trunk to the curves of the trunk and the head
- several manual tests related to motion restriction of bony articulations.

The process of body reading and palpation shall enable use to localize where the main restriction manifests inside the three dimensional individual shape of our client. We will learn to distinguish main restrictions from less significant compensations.
And we will apply efficient techniques to allow integration around these main restrictions.

  of our manual interventions

This course has a personal history. After my training at the Rolf Institute in the US I had the chance to assist Ida Rolf’s son, Richard Demmerle  DC in courses and at his  office in Switzerland. He was trained by his mother way before she developed the so-called recipe.

He has given me the foundation of the one Rolfing® session concept.
